I come from Windsor in England. It's a beautiful place with a huge castle and a park full of animals and old trees. The river Thames runs through the centre of town and you can go there to feed the ducks and swans. You can also visit Legoland in Windsor; they have a brilliant model village there with Lego models of famous places around the world. However, growing up in Windsor was not very exciting so I wanted to travel and experience more of my country.
I went to university in Manchester and it was there that I became interested in Eastern culture and took my first trip to Hong Kong with some Chinese friends. I fell in love with this exciting city and decided I would move out and stay here for a while. I have been here for almost four years now and I still love it very much. There is so much to see and do here!
I like working at Yaumati Catholic Primary School very much because I find the students and teachers to be very friendly and helpful. Sometimes I feel tired because of the early mornings but the students soon wake me up! It has been a lot of fun working with everyone. I also love the view of Victoria Harbour; on a clear day it's beautiful and really lifts your spirits. I hope we can have more clear days in Hong Kong, how do you think we can help?
